Thomas M. Wilson, Attorney at Law
Partner, Early Powell & Wilson, PLC
In the summer of 2014 I began my own law practice in Charlottesville, VA, with the goal of providing dedicated and effective legal representation to my clients. On January 1, 2025, I joined my practice with longtime local practitioners Jeff Early and Mike Powell of Early & Powell, PLC, forming Early, Powell & Wilson, PLC, an expanded practice serving clients across central Virginia with offices in Charlottesville, Ruckersville, and Madison.
As a lifelong resident of central Virginia, I am well connected to the communities I serve. Over the years, I have concentrated my practice on criminal traffic matters, handling over 2,000 criminal and traffic cases and more than 400 felony cases. My regular appearances in courts across the region, combined with my familiarity with local prosecutor offices, law enforcement agencies, and judicial practices, provide me with valuable insights that allow me to craft informed and effective legal strategies for my clients.
I have broadened my practice to include Estate Planning, Estate Administration, Real Estate Law, and Basic Civil Litigation, offering clients comprehensive legal services to address a wide range of needs.
I am an active member of the legal community and belong to both the Madison-Greene Bar Association and the Charlottesville-Albemarle Bar Association, where I have served on the Memorials Committee for the past 10 years.
I remain dedicated to serving my clients with professionalism, diligence, and a results-driven approach. My goal has always been to provide tailored legal solutions that meet the unique needs of each client, ensuring their rights and interests are fully protected, ensuring they feel supported and confident throughout the legal process.
I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in History from Hampden-Sydney College in 2009, followed by earning my Juris Doctor degree from Liberty University School of Law in 2013.
I am an active member of the Virginia State Bar, and I am admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of Virginia.
